I see you swapped out the memory without benefit, have you checked the memory voltage in bios setup?
It should run at 1.65v according to their QVL normally they default to 1.5v I wonder because your running at 1333, is that a preference?
Not that 1333 would harm at all, but check the other settings.
Also, could you please provide screens from Hardware Monitor, Core Temp, and CPUz while running Prime95?
I just swapped the CPU with an i3 and everything worked fine...I put the i5 onto a different board and lo and behold, it worked fine...I am going to RMA this board and try again...
I will post here with the results...
@cyclic I didn't check this, but the ram actually says 1.5V on it...not sure if that matters...I did see that the CPU voltage was fluctuating anywhere from 1.15 to 1.17 and not staying stable at all (this was in the BIOS)
@James7679 I have actually disassembled the PC to return the board, but if this issue persists with the replacement I will post those pics...
Update to this...
So I sent the board back under RMA, and just received the replacement. Installed all hardware, reinstalled Win7, and now all is well...
Thanks for all your help guys (and maybe gals?) I will close this one off.
