Remapping & shutdown problem

    Remapping & shutdown problem


    When I enable the remapping feature in my bios, my full amount of memory (4GB) is recognized. But when I go to shutdown the system it will hang and not shutdown. When I Disable the remapping feature only
    (3 GB) of memory is recoginized but the system shuts down normaly as it should. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a remedy to this problem?

    Sounds like a bad ram chip. Try memtest86. try easing off your timings. what type of mobo?

    Did the memory test...no problems....haven't changed any timings....have the latest bios....mobo is a ASUS P6B Premium Series (see my specs).

Remapping Windows Hotkeys

Hey guys, I was wondering if there is a way to remap the windows hotkeys or even disable them. You see, I am wanting to use alt+tilde as a keybind in a game I play, but whenever I push it, it seems to be a keybind for Windows 7 that has to do with the taskbar. Thanks for the help!
