What programs are best suited?

I want to clean my PC, like i currently have AVG 2012 and a PC defragger but i also want one that searches out old folder.. actually, a bit like PC Tuneup, but i want a experienced user to please tell me which one to recommend or a easy way to do it other than me having to as i am rather busy.

I note your comment about being busy, but you'll be a lot busier putting your computer right if it's messed up after an aggressive clean-up.

I took a look at that page and most of those are like optimizing (speed ups) i just want to clean it a little.. like get more HDD space from those empty folders..

My PC is not slow, just i want to get rid of stuff which shouldn't be there, etc etc hope you understand what i mean

Well, I'd be verey careful when deleting folders.

This forum is full of threads asking for help with missing junction points after user folders have been deleted.

In my view, the best performance boost you can have is by only installing those programs you really need then let Windows 7 take care of business, which it's pretty good at doing so.

If your computer is not slow I'd be inclined to leave well alone.

It's not slow, in a major way.. but i have a 1TB HDD and 500GB is gone, and i have no idea where it has all gone.. seems to walk away and leave, although i do have 15 games installed so... is there any way to clean registry or is the not effective?

From personal experience, so-called registry cleaners can do more harm than good.

Do you need to have so many games installed? After all, you can't play 15 games all at the same time.

Ccleaner defragular and perfect disk is all you need
