High latency from drivers

    High latency from drivers


    Hi,

    after running LatencyMon i notticed really high ms in certain drivers, with the highest being ntoskrnl.exe
    Ive taken a screenshot of the latencies to check it.
    Any suggestions??

    If we had your system specs we might be able to compare the times. Is there a specific problem you are having that caused you to run Latencymon?

    First of all thank you for your reply.
    My system specs are:
    windows 7 ultimate 64x
    Ram 8GB
    Processor intel core 2 quad 2.40 ghz

    Im a dj and i noticed some cracks at the sound when i mix two songs and latenceMon with this latency says that i may have problems with live processing sound

    Might want to try this latency checker. BTW cracks my be driver related. IE audio configuration and BIOS having issues with each other

    Funny, i tried the dpc latency checker and although i desabled every usb controller, network, sound devices, ports and even cd roms im getting huge red spikes from 8000 ms to 15000 ms!!!

    Have you tried running it in Safe mode (F8)? Less drivers loaded there

    seems like the latency checkers wont work in safe mode...

    Interesting. Perhaps a clean normal boot. You need to turn off drivers one by one till you find the bad one.
