What is the full model number of your laptop?

Did you install Ultimate on your laptop? Where did you get it?

You get no options in advanced power options or windows mobility center?

And, the Windows Anytime Upgrade option you have there, makes no sense if you are running Ultimate.

Could it be a Dell Utility that is causing the difference in Power Options?

You could start Windows in Safe Mode and see if Power Options is listed in Control Panel.

when I click "advanced power options" in control panel or "more power options" in the battery task bar nothing happens. also powercfg.exe doesn't appear to be working. could this be related to 64bit operating system?
