Task Scheduler - Configured for - Defaults to Vista

I'm using the Task Scheduler for everything that has to happen regularly on my computer.
When I create a new task (using Create Task) it always default to Configure for: Microsoft Vista, Microsoft Server 2008.

Since I'm running Windows 7, I'm guessing that I need to change this to Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Server 2008 R2

    So 2 questions:

    1. Why doesn't Task Scheduler default to Windows 7?
    2. What difference will changing the platform do?

    Hi Andis

The Task scheduler in Windows 7 has gone lot of changes from vista... This default is kept as vista for backward compatibility for all programs......

There is not much difference between the two.. except certain program for compatibilty windows 7 ...they need use this configure to use with vista
