i didn't mention that it's a separate drive that's why i said there is a misunderstanding.
i said that i didn't empty the recycle bin which by default contains deleted files from the whole hard drive not only the system partition.
Anyway i've deleted all the recycle bins in the $recycle folder and that happened without any problem and i regained the missed free space.
i'm sorry about the misunderstanding and i really appreciate your help.
thank you so much :)
Your free space on C is inadequate.
Your free space on D is woefully inadequate.
First, move data, and data only, from your D to your other hard drive.
Then post back a new disk management snapshot.
This is Win 7 and not XPired. You should seriously consider merging those small partitions you have on your Drive 0.
Space has to be made available on D and on C if possible (move data only), before some recommendations can be made.
No prob, Karl will get you sorted out. It would also be good to wipe the jumble of partition types on Disk0 and start over with one or two data/storage partitions.
That's what i really wanted do ..
I'll merge 3 partitions of disk "0" in a single partition.
but i just wanted some time to free up space in the other disk in order to move the data from the disk 0 to disk 1 before repartitioning.
and i'll move some data from Partition c to the other partitions after repartitioning the other hard drive.
but i've a question here
what is the suitable free space for the system partition in my case?
First get the merges done and the data moved over there to make more space on your D
Post a fresh diskmanagement map after that.
thanks,
