    This is your corrupted file:
    C:\Windows\System32\bootres.dll

    In our massive tutorial collection there is a tutorial on how to extract a file from a Win 7 DVD.
    I'll let you look for it. Try looking at the tutorial index, then use Ctrl+F to open the find box and type Extract

    Thanks you guys for all the help. I ended up having to do a full re-install (I had to back everything up on my external HD's (which was a pain)) but its working fine again. Appreciate all the input.
