No input/output after sleep in Windows 7

Hi everyone,
last night, I decided to sleep my computer instead of shutting it down (I've never had any problems with this feature in previous versions of windows). I went to wake it up this morning and it didn't respond to any mouse movement or the keyboard. I didn't have anything running that was important, so I held down the power button and rebooted; still no display on my monitors. I tried shutting down and unplugging the psu and left it for around 30 mins. Still nothing when I tried to reboot. I can hear the computer running. Hard drives work, fans are on and the gpu is running as well. I've tried resetting the RAM, booting with just one RAM stick and removing the battery for 10 seconds as well but no matter what I try, I can't get any display on the monitor and I can't input anything either. The keyboard and mouse aren't even getting power from the usb ports. My guess is that all the ports on my mobo are "asleep" and will stay that way until I change the wake settings in BIOS. The only problem is, I can't go into BIOS! Does anyone have any ideas? Any insight is much appreciated.
Also, please note that the motherboard and ram were opened about a month ago with no issues at all to date.

Try a ps2 keyboard?

I move the clear jumper and take the battery out for 10 minutes when I really need to make sure I've cleared the CMOS. If you haven't given it 10 minutes you might try that.

You've got to get into setup. I'm not clear, have you disconnected the HDDs? Sounds like you have.

If you have and it still doesn't boot into setup, even with a PS2 keyboard you may need to go through the classic motherboard on cardboard troubleshooting sequence (as much as I hate to suggest anyone have to do that).

But before you do that, make sure everything that is plugged in is firmly seated. I've learned that last one the hard way.

Best wishes -- hope it turns out to be an easy fix.

Turns out it was an easy fix! I finally found the CMOS pins for my mobo (buried under all the cords of course). I unplugged the psu, removed the battery, set the jumper to the other pins, waited for 10 mins as you said, and plugged everything back in. Worked like a charm . Thanks for your input, greatly appreciated.

Hi! I have a speech error, and I had an idea that I could connect the audio output to the input. That way, I could use a speech synthesizer with Skype. I could also play music for my friends. The easiest way to do this is of course a wire, but I was wondering if this could be done from windows....
