Copying and deleting speeds slow

    i ran and it said that errors have been solved and that rest of the errors will be solved after restarted ..... i restarted and now i see no change in the speed ...please help me :)

    okai i ran it for 6 times yersterday and today but still the problem has not been solved ...
    it says windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations !!

    I don't think that your problem is related to an infection - but since there are some infections that can hide from antivirus tools that run while Windows is running - let's try a scan that checks things out while Windows is not running. See the info in this link: What is Windows Defender Offline?

    If your computer can boot to a USB stick, you won't even have to burn a CD to make use of Windows Defender Offline.

    It says its for BSOD but it gives other info too, like installed programs, hardware, windows updates etc, I will have a look at it if you want.

    Can you check your copy speed after trying either/both of these two?

    Hi djayloca, did the slow copy speed just recently start? Maybe a w7 update did it. If you have a restore point before the slow copy started, use it. When WU wants to install updates do them one at a time, testing copy speed after each one.
    Open Task Manager and post a snip Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums, of the Processes tab.

    guys thank you very much for helping me but unfortunately im grounded for a month including no pc for a month therefor il have to try all these in one months time! Thankyou again guyz...
