    Computer getting restarted


    I am facing a computer restart automatically, problem from last few days. my compu is just getting shut without any notification & just after 2 secs its getting started. i am having a dual boot system wid xp & win 7 RTM on it.. i am not facing this prob in win xp. even i neva faced this prob when i kept the dual boot with win 7 beta & win 7 RC. i m facing this problem after i installed RTM a month ago. my system specs -
    procc- core 2 quad q6600
    mb - intel dg35ec
    ram - 1gb ddr2 800mhz
    hdd - 160 gb sata
    psu - 450 watt
    no gpu

    ok did it.. so next time when it occurs it will create a log file in system drive?

For some reason, while I was on a voice call and playing Minecraft, all of a sudden, the computer forced itself off and started up again by itself. I have ran CHKDSK with no errors, and scanned with both Malwarebytes and AVAST and no viruses and malware was found. My power wasn't interrupted either...

hi, Today when i switched on the computer, my computer restarted... i checked the minidump folder, but its empty... and i ran malwarebytes (updated) result is 0 infections... wat cud b the problem of restarting ??? plz help :cry:
Lastnight I was woken by my computer starting up. It was a little after 3am. Its not the first time this has happened so I was wondering if anyone has any incite as to what could be causing this? Ive checked the house for ghosts as well! Maybe I should take a look at the Event Viewer?
