StandBy / Hibernation off - Computer still powers off.
Hi all,
I am using Win7.
I occasionally use
powercfg -h off
to disable Standby / Hibernation. Most often if I am running some long-time activities in the background where I am away from the screen.
I noticed, that the computer still powers down (not shutdown). This is confirmed with Event 42, Category 64, Keyword 4 (Information)

If I do
powercfg -a
I get (roughly translated)
Mode S1 not available
Mode S2 not available
Standby has not been activated
Hybrid Standby-mode.
Tha last line of this output catches my eye and I do suppose that instead of doing a normal StandBy, the system goes into hybrid standby.
This, however, is astonishing, since it is stated that
powercfg -h off
disables normal standby just as well as it does disable hybrid standby.
Does anyone have a clue as to why my system still powers down?
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
P.
