Can I delete or edit the file clr.lst
Not sure if this question has been asked before or not. My computer was/is infected with some rubbish search engine - Claro. I have followed all of the possible solutions I have been able to find on the internet but to no avail.
Have deleted files, registry keys etc., but still it pops up on opening Firefox. It does not, however, show when using IE [which I do not use generally but did so as a test]. The only place I have found any reference to this abysmal virus is in the clr.lst file and I am not sure if it is permissible or wise to delete the file or even to edit it since I am not sure of it's purpose. Searching for what/why of clr.lst is as futile as looking for an honest pollie.
