Font Folder says it contains 7000, but there is only 100
Hey I installed 10,000 fonts and it was definitely not the best idea (I suggest not to do this) since it impacted the performance of my Laptop significantly, during start up as well as programs.
After removing the fonts from registry and the Font Folder, the startup and performance is almost up to speed but not as it used to be.
So I am wondering, what needs to be done to bring my computer at its optimal again? I used Ccleaner, Disk Clean Up. I think the issue lies in the fact that my Font folder says it has 7,000 fonts in there when clearly there isn't.
Anyone know how to make it display properly and my computer back up to speed? I think it's possible there are more fonts stored somewhere which is making the display going haywire.
It's unfortunate that after uninstalling the fonts, perhaps my programs are loading up and running slower than usual.
