Victek, My 3.8 is from an ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO, not on-board. On another system I replaced a Nvidea 6150 on-board with a 9600GT but did not see any of the GUI performance improvement that you quote although my WEI went up from some 2.4 to 4.9.

Fair enough. Seems like we need another benchmarking tool to compare results with. When I upgraded from a 6600GT to a 9600GT I noticed a difference, but since I had just installed a new video card I wanted to see a difference - not exactly objective.

WEI is not a traditional benchmarking tool, if it is one at all. WEI measures a system's ability to run Windows Vista/7.

You could change your graphics card. That would boost the graphics performance.

But the larger question is what can't your PC do that you wish it could? Other than what you see in the Windows Experience area, how are you disappointed in day to day operations?
