OK. Speaking of which, what are you using to cool the 4670K?
A Cooler Master Hyper212 EVO but I have a Thermaltake Water 2.0 Pro ready to put on it.

Very nice choice. Sounds like that Evo cooler is doing a good job cooling that beast Gary.

Sounds like you have got a lot of nice new stuff now Gary, I look forward to seeing it all put together.

Did you get a new case or are you using your current one?

The 212EVO doesn't do too bad, nut IBT at 4500 is like a blow torch, it gets to 90C+ in a couple of seconds.

I'll be doing a transplant Paul and use the case I have now. Show Us Your Rig [3]
Then I'll transplant my system to my wife's case. "Frankenstein" build

Just to stay "legal" here's my current system.

Gary, it's fun watching your results with the new components. I have been paying attention and see that ivy/haswell take a big turn once you get to 4.5/6. Paul and Kelly have been very good with their advice. Cheers to all of you, I'm still learning

thanks Doug, it is interesting for me too. I hope I can get to 4600. I think it's ver doable but I need to get the heat down and figure how to get my voltages lower. The Haswell has a lot different (and more) adjustments than my Sandy Bridge. Kelly's and Paul's advice helps me too.
