Interesting. Winsat mem won't run on X99 with 5960X.

It gives an error that says Buffer is too big. Max is 32 MB.

That sounds like a good thing to me. Only I was counting on some 100,000+ winsat scores.

There may be a Windows update, can't get my Belkin USB WiFi dongle to install. I'm not gonna worry about it too much for now.


Edit: I'm an idiot, there are no Windows 7 drivers for the Belkin dongle on the install CD. Up to XP only.

I thought all the X99 boards cam with built in WiFi. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure all the asus ones do. How's it running, that's the most important. Plus, welcome to new technology, it can make you pull your hair out for a while. Been there, done that. But, it will take a few months for the Motherboard manufacturer's to figure it out and the software people to figure out how to write programs that work on it, then all will be well in the world.

The Gigabyte Gaming WiFi series of course comes with WiFi, other models don't.

I'm not bothered by it, my main system is always connected via Ethernet anyway.

Otherwise, it's going good, I shall press on with my testing.

I'm looking forward to seeing the results. I bet they are awesome!
