Does the Restore point predate the problem?

If so then I'd try that to see if you get back before the delay. If not you can always undo the restore.

Are you able to find any Samsung programs or other utilties that control or reference the video?

Sorry there is no Samsung software which controls video settings.
I have checked Restore point. It has only 1 month old restore points and I have this problem from last 50 days.

Everything depends on RAM. It's a worthwhile test.
Hey F5ing, the problem is from last 40-50 days.
And regarding antivirus, I have installed it later to check whether I had virus or any malware.
I have done sfc/scan and it couldn't find any corrupt file.
I haven't done Restore as my Restore point is quite old.
    Thanks for the answers.

A restore back to 40 days or so ago might be excessive, depending on your OS/App install stability. If all you've done is install updates to your OS/Apps and minimal personalization, it might not be that big of a deal.

A bigger question might be "Why is your system not making regular restore points?" You should have at least one per week. Unless you've made registry changes (or something else has).

That's good news about your sfc scan!

As far as malware is concerned, if it's something you suddenly became concerned about because you think your problem might be due to infection, it might be too late. Consider this: if that malware has infected the system and has a certain amount of control over your machine, what action do you think that malware might take if the user tries to install some standard antivirus app, the sole purpose of which is an attempt to rid the system of that malware?

And as far as antimalware and optimization utilities are concerned, you should realize that they tend to muck around pretty deep into the system. Uninstalls don't necessarily reverse that mucking.

    What about the RAM test?

Maybe a RAM test, HD test and a clean install is your best bet. In that order.

Edit: apparently I missed a couple of posts. Sorry...

Thnaks for the Speccy and Device manager.

Did you uninstall both graphics adapters as requested?

You did provide system specs info in post 1, however not everyone knows that, and as troubleshooting progresses and not everyone will take the time to flip back to the 1st post just to find information about your machine when all they need to do is click on any of your posts to see that information. The link in my sig makes it easy.

.....For both the Nvidia and the Intel - uninstall, remove all software if prompted

reboot, do NOT install any drivers
Yes, your screen will be the default 800x600
work in that mode until a solution is reached - sorry, I know.....

I want to see what inf files are around before you run any updates.
There is only one graphics adapter on your machine, but it thinks there are two.

edit: according to essenbe, some Samsung models do have two controllers. hmm, imagine that.

I'll look at the Speccy report once you post the link

and it would help a lot if your system specs were filled in - use the easy system spec link in my sig so you don't have to type all of the information. Please make sure the make and model are correct - thanks

Hey Slartybart, here is my speccy report http://speccy.piriform.com/results/I...UxUldXxCza63oR

I have already mentioned my system specs in start of the post

I have attached the pic of my display drivers.

Speccy: No battery, did you have an issue with this in the past and pull it?

Please also turn off hibernation (always suspect with boot issues)
    elevated command prompt
    powercfg -h off

Your timezone is off (GMT +5:30)- often indicative of malware, although it could just be user error.

Please describe the following entries found in scheduler
    AutoKMS, advSRS5, DriverScanner

.... and in the process list
    easyspeedupmanager.exe
    sdupdate.exe (spybot?)

    service:
    wrsvc (webroot?)

You really should run a utility such as Revo uninstaller to clean up all the bits and pieces.

Someone with more experience will have to sort the graphics out. That Intel reference sure is chewing up a lot of memory. Odd that both driver versions are the same.

looks as though Nvidia has updated the autodetect - might see what that tell you
