There should be nothing running in msconfig Startup and Services tab (after Hiding All MS Services) except Microsoft Security Essentials.

Hey guys sorry for basically falling off the face of the Earth. It has been a pretty hectic holiday week between my family's Christmas and my girlfriends. Speaking of Christmas, I hope you all had a good one if you celebrate it, a good Hanukkah, or any other holiday festivities. Getting back to business, I would like to say that even with everything off Greg my RAM does not drop below 30%. However, when I run programs or play video games I am noticing a significant decrease in the amount of RAM that these programs use. Also, there is no more lag when I play these games and my computer seems to be back up to speed. Everything seems to be running normal other than the fact that there is a lot of RAM being used when nothing is running but when something is run it does not take much RAM to use it.

Thanks to everyone who gave me help on this post. You all have been very pleasant and helpful in this time of need for my poor baby. I need this machine to get me through a few more years of college, only one semester down, and I was really scared that I was gonna lose it. However, I found the help of some of the nicest and helpful people on the internet and they did something that seemed to work out in the end. So again many thanks to you all for the help that you all have given me. I have given everyone that helped in this forum positive reputations and hope that you all have a good one.
