    Acronis boot slowdown

    Disabling Acronis scheduler and Non Stop (which didn't appear to be started anyway) I confirmed that same is the cause for a slow shut down on boot.

    Any reason the following would cause a problem to Acronis or anything else?:

    1. { \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management}--change the value of ClearPageFile at Shutdown to a 0 IF the value is 1.

    2. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\--Highlight the value WaitToKillServiceTimeout

    Change this value to 1000

Hi Guys, Does anyone know a way to slow the boot of a guest OS in VMPlayer so the you have time to press a function key before the OS boots?
