    Computer is low on memory!?

For the past day i have been getting this error every time i try to play Battlefield 3,i have 2x2GB of Gskill ram at 1333Mhz and ive never had a problem before, can somebody help me with this? Its really frustrating. or was this a reference to Hard disk space perhaps? (although highly unlikely)

why don't you try if this is on steam version do a file defragmentation
verify integrity of game cache and see if it corrects itself

Same could apply to Orgin i think as well

Start out by running all of Disk Cleanup, Error Checking, and Disk Defragmenter. If those don't help, use (or buy cheap) a USB drive with a good number of GB with ReadyBoost.

How much RAM does your operating system use when idle? It looks a little high in the screenshot? Or is that because its just been closed?

Adding more RAM would defiantly fix the issue. However it should run on 4GB. Do you close all the programs before you go on the game...?

Its on 1.5GB at idle and reaches to 3.7GB when playing,it would fix the issue but my board has only 2 ram slots which are occupied right now so before buying new rams i will have to get rid of these first which is gone take some time and its not on the top of my list either right now.Besides it was running fine for months on them.

Hmm I can only guess the only reason it WAS working fine would be down to an update they may of done which increases the resources it use's.

the problem did not occur last night.Ive just bought another 1TB HDD and have yet to try it on this one,but i think it might have been just b/c of heavy load.
