Frequent BSOD

    I cant remember therre were two crashes this morning before work, I left it doing the wednesday windows updates for my wife to switch off, and it hasnt crashed since I came home, Will post again after the next BSOD.

    Hi Maverick,

    If it helps, see the attachment, the file should look like the top one in the list. :)
    And make sure in your configuration settings that you have Write an event to the system log and Automatically restart boxes checked.

    The file I posted was exactly like that aprt from the file at the top of the list.

    Ah yes - just tried again and got 'no dump file' so will post after next crash - shouldn't be long!

    Just had BSOD but ran diagnostics and iyt still says no dump file

    Three crashes in 5 mins and I realise theres no BSOD - it goes fuzzy and reboots.

    Hi,

    That looks fine, try:


    Start - then type in Search box - cmd (at top of list) - right click - RUN AS ADMIN

    Type: sfc /scannow

    Then wait for next crash and lets see what happens. If no dump files after crash then it could pointing towards a hardware problem (which is possiblly why you cant get the dumpfile), and I will ask a member of the BSOD team to help you as this goes beyond my knowledge (for now :))
