Hey, wait a minute. They had computers in 1985. Of course a Windows phone could probably beat them. What most of us a using are more powerful than a 1985 supercomputer, and don't take an office building to hold them.

A hard drive from back then was probably 10 bytes and weighed 500lbs

They used tapes, about the size of you car tire.

I've seen and read about actual mechanical hard drives from back then as well. But yeah, they used a mixture of tapes and drives I'd imagine

Steve I was comparing the power of WOPR to what we now have. It has been said a digital watch of today have more computing power than the computer that went to the Moon with Neil Armstrong aboard Apollo 11 in 1969.

In "War Games" David Lightman used a IMSAI 8080 computer.

With a non overclocking basic Intel motherboard and processor. And a Visiontek HD 3450 AGP. I'm happy to have these numbers. MB temps are in the lows 40C with a 350 watt power supply:). By the way, this is a well run forum. Thank you allowing me to be a member.

I'm updated to a odd situation. I added a PCI sound card $9.99 special, Microcenter Store. Turn off onboard sound at the bios. Turn on at bios Plug & Play and rerun WEI. And don't why the increase of 0.2
