I would suggest checking to see if the computer can support more RAM (I have a sneaking suspicion it won't) and, if so, go here and download and run the Crucial System Scanner to see what RAM you can replace your present RAM with. It would be better to replace the RAM than to just add to it.

I wouldn't worry about your WEI score too much, however. It's purpose is primarily to provide a benchmark to monitor hardware performance; if the score goes down without you making any changes, it can help point out where the problem lies. A lot of people use the WEI for bragging rights but if your computer performs satisfactorily for you, then it doesn't really matter what the initial WEI score is.
Actually I just recovered from a serious window trouble and was thinking if these ratings were alright for current spec , anyhow I had downloaded the software and I am seriously thinking of upgrading the laptop spec, will let you know if have any questions or concerns, Thanks anyways

I'm curious about something... With so many different PC components hitting the limits of the WEI scorecard these days, has anyone considered a proper "winsat comparison" thread? Found a few "winsat formal" threads in a search, but all of them are old and no longer used, possibly because the full output of the formal test is just too much info for the average person to grasp.

We already have one that focuses on winsat mem, but nothing that covers the CPU or GPU side.. Just the other day I managed to get my SLI setup sorted out, so I'm rolling two KFA2 GTX 660Ti cards now, but I'm curious to see how the raw performance stats compare to other systems.

So, should/could we perhaps add 2 more sticky threads below the memory assessment thread for CPU and GPU tests then?
