The driver is not listed just AMD Catalyst Install Manager.

Bought it from newegg 6.18.12 says it has a 3yr. warranty. Its had a serious price change, I paid $80. now it is $190.

What if I uninstall the driver thru Device Manager, will this force Windows to install drivers or will it cause a lot of problems ?

I still have the option of replacing the SSD.

I know that mine is Intel Mobo, but it should still apply to the AMD system too.

On the device manager, click the "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers" drop down menu

The on the device properties click rollback. It should return to the MSACHI drivers.

I do not find Device properties, clicking on "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers" opens and closes the list.

Oh, just right click on the "AMD SATA Controller" and click properties. Then go to "driver' tab and select rollback. It should bring it back to the MSAHCI and test your WEI again. Hope this works :)

The screenshot you posted earlier was in alignment and you were using the AMD AHCI drivers. My experience with AMD is several years ( OK A little more than several) ago. But, at that time the AMD AHCI sata drivers did not perform very well at all. They may have improved now, but I used to have to use the Microsoft MSAHCI drivers and got much better results with them. I tried to give Arc his keyboard back, but he wouldn't take it. Besides, Bill and Paul. I'm old and have a good excuse, what's yours?

    The WEI had no change.

The first two pics are before and after the rollback.

AS SSD did, it also now lists msahci - OK
The one which says; Driver software installation, poped up after reboot.
The list under IDE in device manager has changed also.

Has there been any progress ?

    Yes Sir,
I never installed it though, until I put it in the HP and that was probably a month or so before putting together the new one.

OK, just checking, and please don't call me Sir. I'm not used to it. Paul never calls me that, a few other things, but never sir.

You're probably going to have to go through the process with OCZ then.
