I'm never happy with what I have. I want the faster and shinier things.

When the fast and shiny things are game-changers like a reliable SSD.......it's hard not to want that. The SSD is the biggest improvement in PC tech since the dual core processor.

I can agree with this statement

I can def. agree with this. I'm just happy with what I have. Like I said though, as soon as these bad boys come down in price and have bigger storage capacity that I can afford; I will pick one up quickly :)

Here's one Andrew that has dropped in price about $200-$300 since its launch. Still not affordable for many though.

Thanks britton30! I bookmarked it. I shall watch the price fall for a bit, see what happens :)
My ideal price would be $300-$400.
    Probably will take awhile though

I'm surprised my i5-4670k (this WEI score) got a lower score than my A10-5800k which got a 7.9.

Maybe not long. My first SSD was a Crucial M4-64GB for $130 about 9 months ago, now it's $85-$90 or less at times. I suspect other manufacturers will soon introduce some SSDs in the 1TB range too. I like the Samsungs because their NAND and controllers are made in-house.

That's the first 7.9 CPU score we've seen. Is the AMD in Win 8?

Something wrong there, eh Gary. Either a glitch showing 7.9 for your 5800k or you are mistaken Boozad.

It's in the kids room, I'll take a look tomorrow as they're in bed now. I'm positive it was 7.9 as virtually everything else was in the 5 region. Maybe I was mistaken.

    It's in Windows 7.
