oh yes do get the RAM it makes a hell lot of difference my next target is a 60GB SSD for OS only :)

Yep I'd say an ssd will help allot
Did for me but I got a crucial 256 ssd about a month ago for os and everything
About to get at least one more for a dual boot with win-10TP on it :)
Might settle for a mx100 crucial 128gig though stat's are as good as a mx100 256 crucial :/

Before getting the SSD, make sure you will have at least 20-25% headroom. In other words, if getting a 60GB SSD, you will want no more than 45GB of the SDD in use. I personally feel 120GB should be the minimum for an OS SSD—more if one also puts large games on it—but as long as one can keep the used space down, a smaller one can be used.
