    WEI score
After seeing yours I would NEVER show mine.

    Beautiful rating!
While I would never say getting a perfect WEI score is nothing to crow about, not having one is nothing to be ashamed of, either. The purpose of the WEI is to establish a baseline to compare to later on to determine if hardware performance is staying up to snuff or not. If you have, say an inexpensive notebook that has a WEI score of only, say, 5.3 but it meets your needs, it's all good since it is to be expected that low end hardware would have less performance than higher end hardware. The only time to be concerned is if, later down the road, it comes up as, say 4.7. Then you would need to be concerned because it would indicate that either your system has gone wonky or something in your hardware is failing.

My notebooks test low because of the graphics cards in them. I don't care about that because they are only 15" screens and they meet my needs just fine. But, if my desktop rig (definitely a high end machine despite its age) was to throw a WEI less than 7.8, I would be concerned.

thanks man, Ive heard in order to get a 7.9 on processor you have to have your cpu overclocked to like 4.8 or something like that.

I have an 8yo laptop with an upgraded dual core processor running Win7 64-bit -- 2.8 GHz. It also has 8 Gb ram and a recent HD upgrade (1 Tb). I guess this score isn't bad. I've seen much lower.
