    My installation starting to get old (buggy)..

    Hello, it's been about a year that i'm on the same install and it's starting to get seriously buggy...

    Just little things but annoying! Particularly the delay at boot before the login screen shows up:

    Before there was none, now i see the mouse on a black screen for 2-5sec (depends...);

    So i'd like to know what's causing this delay? Cause i tried wipe caches, prefetch...

    Also checked/uninstalled last install that i don't need, but still it's dong it!

    Try a clean boot to see if that helps: Start - type msconfig. Go to startup tab and uncheck everything. Reboot. If that made a difference, put the stuff back one at a time with reboots in between until you experience degradation again. If a troublemaker is isolated, delete and re-install.

    Also, please run, separately, full scans of Microsoft Security Essentials, MalwareBytes, and SuperAntiSpyware.

    In addition to PSCOWBOY's post, It woudlnt hurt to run some Virus scans, Also run C-CLEANER to clear computer cookies, index.dat files, temp files, clipboard, memory dumps etc etc,

    IF you're experiancing a slight delay at start up, even after you have tried a clean reboot ( see post above )

    Then this could indicate a driver\service taking a little while to "start"
    Perhaps run windows update.
    Also check for driver updates\newer versions.

    If you have lots of programs\toolbars installed that you no longer require,

    Uninstall them.

    You can try reupgrade your windows installation.
    It was basically similar to windows 8 refresh.
