Weird sfc/ scannow behavior
I have run that command a thoulsand times (always with administrator privileges, of course), from my personal account and also from the administrator one, I have done it from the safe mode, and I've also checked for malware with ESET and Malware Bytes. I have run chkdsk. I have run a defrag. Nothing. I always get the same result: some corrupts files were found but sfc was unable to repair them. Check CBS.log for more info. Well, I've done the sfcdetails.txt trick every single time after the sfc check and also after a reboot. Not a single clue of any corrupt file.
But here's the funny thing: if I run sfc at boot following this guide -https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/139810-sfc-scannow-run-command-prompt-boot.html- sfc reports no errors at all. And yes, I'm putting the right device letter.
I'm a computer technician but I'm running out of ideas here.
What else can I do?
My system: Win7 x64 Ultimate SP1.
And no, I don't have any restore points, and I don't wanna format.
Thanks.
