Best Temperature For Laptop?

Hello Everyone.
I Have a Dell Inspiron 5050 ( Core i3 Version! ) .
I Don't Use it For Like Gaming Or Some Applications That May Need A Stronger Laptop .
I Just Surf On The Internet, Check My Facebook , And Sometimes I Watch Movie On It
But I Am Really Worried About The Temperature Of My Laptop. Sometimes It Really Gets Warm , And I Don't Know If That Is Normal Or Not ...
I Was Wondering, What is The Best and Ideal Temperature For A Laptop Like Mine?
If The Temperature Of My Laptop Is So High, How Can I Reduce it ?

Thank You :)

Install this bit of software and run it. It will provide temperature details for the laptop componenets. Take a screen capture image of these details, and upload them here.

Laptops do tend to get very warm the reason being there is not a lot of room inside them like desktops if you are really concerned you can use a cooler which the laptop sits on .

laptops do get warm if being used a lot, the best thing you can do is purchase a laptop cooling fan, they come usb and they work great. I use it for my laptop when it is on for more than an hour and it keeps the laptop cool, I have clients that leave it on all day and the laptop cooling fan keeps it nice and cool

Are the heatsink fins all clofgged with lint and pet hair? All of the laptop's I've worked on have all kinds of gunk in the heatsink fins, which keeps the laptop from cooling like it should. Removing the bottom panel and blowing it clean with a can of compressed air really helps...

Besides cleaning the dust and using a cooling pad, watch out for what programs you run is a good measure. Programs that are CPU demanding can easily elevate temperatures and notebooks have many known problems due to that. Games are the most common problems, movies maybe. Everything else should not cause anything. Of course, on summer the problems is worse

Note that all recent computers have built-in protection against high temperatures. If the CPU temperature gets above the safe temps (around 100 degrees) if automatically and abruptly shuts down, preventing from overheating.
