    Speeding up USB transfers.

    Hotfix

    Instructions

Works for me and doesn't require installation of any USB 3.0 "boost" software (also works for USB 2.0, although YMMV).

Diminishing returns above 512k, at least for HDDs. Difference when transferring files was more pronounced than with these CrystalDiskMark benches, even 128k makes a huge difference. 2MB caused problems with my USB 2.0 drive (just stopped randomly during file transfer) but it's perfect on 512k, suspect the controller just wasn't designed for such large transfers. No SDD to test sorry.
