No options allowed in pinned explorer
Hi all,
first post but regular visitor to this usefull forum . But as usually posting starts when problems occurr .
I have used the tutorial on your site to alter the default startup location of the pinned exploer icon to computer like this:
That worked ok until.... I used Windows 7 Manager 1.1.2.... I think at the step where you are able to cleanup useless files....... some less useless files were removed.... including all files of my custom location desktop and custom location outlook mail ... I have to say its nice working on a CLEAN desk.... all trashed files exceeded the trashcan size so.... most of them disappeared beyond recovery.Code:%windir%\explorer.exe /n,::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}
Not a real problem sinc emost of them can be fixed from elsewhee but....
PROBLEM: All pinnend shortcuts work except the explorer icon! When I remove the command line options /n etc the shortcut works. But if I add the options it fails. It only shows the highliht but notheing happens. Keyboard shortcut win-E works. Shortcut from startmenu does not work except if I select an earlier used location. It works.
The rather cryptic key for computer exists in the registry...
Even a restore point doen't solve my problem...
HELP! I don't want to do a reinstall.... and of course no system image yet....
