Hi Greg,

sorry to be so stubborn but I have managed to install Windows and updates! I did what you said and yup, went smoothly. After installing Windows, I then installed the SM BUS CONTROL driver. I have downloaded it, using the steps in Hardware Identification

Now I am installing some other applications like MS office, etc. :)
