Ok, I'll try to uninstall Norton, but I'll need an alternative Internet suite, or some sort of security combo during that time... Any suggestions? I'll trial it out for a couple of days so it doesn't has to be a free solution, just a good and reliable one

    Cheers

I used to have MSE but while trusting that piece of garbage my PC got infected to that extent that I've had to format and reinstall everything, so MSE is a no go for me... I'll stick to commercial internet security solutions.. But thank again for the suggestion, but I'd like another one :) (used to have Kaspersky but that one slowed everything waaaaaaaaay to much, resource hog)
I'll try out some other suites and see which one doesn't slows down my pc

    Cheers

All right,if you had troubles with MSE,fair enough, but I must say, never heard anyone complaining about it around here.Try ESET,I tested its vulnerability through Gibson Research and it stated amazingly protected.

You could also try Avast if you are willing. They have a free and paid version, so you could test it out first and see if you like it and/or would like the retail version.

You could try ESET Smart Security. Also, a completely free Internet Security: Comodo Internet Security

MSE doesn't always work well coz it doesn't have the ability to do heuristic scanning. It just finds malware using its definitions, which is not a very good solution.
