Look in Programs and Features in the control panel.

Check your documents folder, check your downloads folder.

    Hello Emerico,

If you like, you could go through the listed options in the tutorial below to help free up hard drive space. WinDirStat in Option One is a good place to start to get a good overview.

Hard Disk Space - Free Up and Recover

    Hope this helps, :)

    Hello OCIR.

Brink already has a great tutorial up there but you could try these:

    1. Press Win+R ( + R)
    2. Type in "temp" [without quotes] and hit Enter. Delete everything there.
    3. Type in "%temp%" [without quotes] and hit Enter. Delete everything there.

    How's your disk space now?

WELL THIRE IS 15 GB in %temp% and 12gb in temp all that stuff is safe to remove ?
i did do a disk cleanup. but i guess what you asked me to do is different.

That (WINDIRSTART) that brink has looks good but I have no idea how to use that. I need to do a lot of reading up on that

OMG! That's some big amount! AFAIK, these should be safe to delete. I have both these folders empty. Some files which are being used are automatically protected from being deleted, so don't you worry! To be on the safe side, make a backup of all these on your 1TB hdd, then delete them all. Now do a restart and if everything is fine, delete the backups as well.

Seems like you are too lucky, you have around 30 gigs waiting to be freed!

As far as I can see, this is the place that ate up your disk space.

Info: That data in temp folder is the extracted data from the game's setup.

If you like, the free program CCleaner is a great one that will clear the temp and junk files to free up the space again.

When you run CCleaner, click on "Cleaner" on the left, click on "Analyze", then "Run Cleaner" when it's finished analyzing.
