Restart the PC and try once more . There was another user on here that had the same issue and it worked . You might have a loose dc port
:added:
Try remove the. Battery and insert it back and try to run the command again

I restarted the computer (taking out the battery while it was off) and the BIOS still does not recognize the plug so it is not charging and it needs to have 10% battery before it will update the BIOS file. What do I do? I can't get the battery to charge?
I did... I rebooted and tried the command again and it still says the battery needs to be recharged 10% to work. I can try to buy a new power supply tomorrow from Best Buy and see if that works but when I searched up the issue, many people said it was a problem with the motherboard. I just don't know how to get around this battery charging issue. I can't get the battery to charge 10% and the bios file won't load unless the battery is charged.
What is the percentage of the battery ?
Try adding this to the end of the command

It still does not work. The message was given that the battery and ac adapter must be plugged in to flash BIOS. Do you think I should get a new battery? The AC port seems to be working fine because it detects my other cord when it is plugged in. That cord is just not the correct wattage. The problem is that it is still not charging even with that cord. What do you suggest?
