    Programs/explorer close unexpectedly

Im not getting any BSOD, but AVS video convertor, Lightroom and Photoshop stop working on a regular basis. This is a new build I5 win 7 64 bit.
Now certainly AVS stopped working on my old system, near enough every time i ran it, but that was only after updating the software before the update it was solid.
Ive had a few win explorer close and restart, but that has stopped since i sorted a RAM issue.
Im inclined to think its a SSD issue as i transferred this from the old system but with a clean install. I havent upgraded the firmware for the SSD since i bought back in nov 12.
How do i problem solve this as no reasons are given when these programs close.
    Any advice appreciated

Look in Event Viewer, see if there is anything there that give you a clue.

Hmmm, all those programs are fairly memory use intensive I believe. You could try removing 1/2 the ram and see if the problem goes away.

And yes, I did see where you said you sorted a ram issue, but what if there is still a problem there?
