Windows 7 Hang
Hi all,
On my laptop I was running a copy of Windows 7 RC which was upgraded from the beta which was further upgraded from Vista Professional. It ran really smooth without many hiccups at all. Now that the RTM is out, I wanted to clean install Windows to get a brand new and fresh copy.
After the installation, I've noticed that every now and then Windows will hang where everything is frozen for 15-20 seconds. During this hang state, the mouse is operable however the computer does not respond to anything. Also the hard drive light remains on constantly but it doesn't make any seeking sounds or anything. This never happened to me when I had RC installed.
How can I fix this problem?
Thanks!
PS: I've only noticed it happening once after I turn on or restart my computer. It can happen at anytime however and not necessarily right when Windows starts.
