Hard drives won't stay in sleep mode

Since two weeks something strange is happening. My hard drives go into sleep mode and instantly come out of it. They won't stay in sleep mode. No matter what delay time I setup, they will behave like this. So even if I setup a time to sleep of 1 minute, you will hear them go to sleep and instantly come out of it every minute, continuously. This used to work perfectly before for months. I haven't installed anything new (except of Windows updates). I've checked with performance monitor if anything is accessing the drives but there's no drive activity whatsoever. I've also tried to shut down as many processes as possible but that didn't help either. The only thing I've changed three weeks ago was my video card (Radeon 6850 to GTX580) but I'm not sure that the issue started then. Just around two weeks ago I noticed the issue. Did anybody else experience something like this?

I've solved my problem. The solution, for people with the exact same problem, was to downgrade my Intel RST driver from 11.7 to 11.2.
