I have same laptop and used ThrottleStop to remote my processor speed.
If you set Multiplier on 33 it will work always on 3,3GHz without exceptions.
Also, if your laptop if overheated and temp go to 80 or 90 degree Celsius just Set Multiplier on 12 and it work on 1,2 GHz - I always used it on that speed with normal jobs task like used CorelDRAW or play Battlefield Vietnam and if you work some 3D task just Set Multiplier on 22 or 24 and it will work very fine.
I doing same thing with same software on Windows 7 with i7-2600 and on Windows 10 with i7-3610QM.
