    Right now I cannot do the repair because of university so I will do it when I really have time this month. I will do it and let you know.

    OK, change of plans. Where I work they have got a lot of I don't know what they are called. They let you access drives without getting them in the computer. The old computer's drives still work so I am gonna access the old drives using this device!

    So you will be able to do backups then ...... Could be a Hard Drive casing .... That is some good news
