Sounds like you need a larger C drive or remove some programs/data.

    Hello techno Di,

You might see if this may be able to help free up some space on your hard drive.

    Hope this helps, :)

brink .. I will try to implement options 1,2,3,4and 5
I think options means that it is not mandatory to implement them all .
but look .. I think there is a virus which causes this problem , I also ran the antivirus

Correct, they are just optional for the ones you would like to do.

Since you suspect a virus, you might consider doing a full scan of your system at boot with Windows Defender Offline.

I would consider a 256 gb SSD or larger if you can afford. Otherwise look for a 128gb SSD which have really fallen in price and place the 100 gb spinner in an external enclosure. Image HDD to SSD and then use the HDD as B.U. drive or as a sole data drive. Also a large sd card works well for data but always have a BU plan in place.

Here is what I would do:

    1. Check the size of the allocated shadowstorage. The command is

    vssadmin list shadowstorage

    2. Get rid of the hiberfile. The command is:

    powercfg -h off

    3. Reduce the pagefile to 2 GB

    4. Move user files to the HDD (but NOT system files)

    3. Reduce the pagefile to 2 GB
