I think it's mostly due to the Z87 Deluxe board, it spend less time fricking around in POSTing. It also has a "Fast boot" option which I used too. I think I can do better by turning off some USB initializing too. Of course I'll post if I get a lower time.

Gary what app are you using to get that readout please? Cos my Ivy takes forever in that POST bit too. But I only have the Z77-V board though.

Do you mean boots or reboots?
My last motherboard, an Asrock did a reboot in 14 seconds with my Vertex 4, I did post a screenshot on here but that was a long time ago. I guess maybe a 10 is possible.
