Where is my disk space going?

How do you know that the cumulative size of your files is 49GB if you never used a proper tool to tally all the files. What you think you see is not the whole story.

Suggest you run this program - then you know for sure. Post a snip of the resulting picture. Then we'll go from there.

Let's see what this looks like.

You keep fooling yourself. You are not seeing everything and unless you run the program I suggested earlier, you'll be in the dark. And post the resulting picture.

You obviously do not have a shadowstorage problem. That was clear from one of your earlier posts.

It is easier to find the big files because you get a picture of the filespace like this.



And you can manipulate the files directly from there - e.g. delete a file.
