    Hi Anes,

    Welcome to Seven forums.

Please make sure the hibernation is enabled on the system:

    Hibernate - Enable or Disable

If it was working earlier then you can perform a system restore as well:

    System Restore

Keep us posted with the results so we can advise you further.

You need to run it from an elevated command prompt,

    Elevated Command Prompt

Which is A) under step 1 in the tutorial,

    Hibernate - Enable or Disable

    Hi Anes,

Please let us know what happens when you click on Hibernate button on the windows start menu. Does it logs off the current user. And does the system doesn't shut down,

Under hibernate it should shut down the system completely. Also, ensure that you clean boot the system to isolate any startup software causing this issue:

Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup

Keep us posted with the results so we can advise you further.
