Not enough memory

Dear,

Laptop:
Core i5
8GB RAM
240 GB SSD HD
Win7 64bits

I open a file in civil 3D and suddenly I get a message of 'not having enough memory' and have to close the program;

I open task manger; check RAM use and it is 4GB.

Pls advise.

Thank you

Hello Joesm,

Is the hard drive that you have the page file on low on free disk space?

What do you have your page file set with?

If you set it's size to low or disabled it, then that could give you a low memory type error like this. It's recommended to leave the page file set to it's default of being managed by the system.

Hope this helps,
