Okay I did that, should I now buy a new F drive?

F is good, C is good 100%. I will just buy a new hard drive, as far as I understand to transfer the 300GB data to the new 2TB hard drive I need to do this:
1) Take cable from the computer's power supply into the new hard drive
2) Connect a SATA cable from the motherboard to the new hard drive
3) Configurate the hard drive so the computer understands it has a new hard drive(forgot how to do so)
4) Transfer data
5) Take the old hard drive and throw it at any unfortunate cat to cross my way

Success! My computer now has 1.8 TB free space instead of 300 GB and the slowdown is competely gone.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaand the problem is back but not as bad as before. That is not ideal

Finish the rest of the steps I suggested earlier for testing hardware, then I'd skip to reinstall. You will get and keep a perfect install for as long as you stick with the tools and methods given.

Go ahead and catch up with the other steps not yet completed especially the hardware tests for RAM - Test with Memtest86+ for 5-6 passes, install CrystalDiskInfo - Software to check HD SMART status and test the HD with maker's HD Diagnostic CD long scan.

If this doesn't help then do the Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 sticking closely to the steps to do a diagnostic install, which means first doing all rounds of Updates then testing performance after each reboot before again Checking for Updates until they are all completed. Then test performance after each program install. This helps pinpoint what is causing the hang.

No prob, type msconfig in Start search box, on Startup tab uncheck everything except your AV.

Then in Services tab, tick the box to Hide All MS Services, uncheck everything except your AV.

If you haven't installed an AV yet, make sure none are installed in Control Panel>Programs and Features, then install Microsoft Security Essentials

AV does not appear in msconfig. I cannot uninstall AV from "Programs and Features", says it is uninstalled yet I see it active in my quickbar
