"You do not have permission to enable or disable device wake"

    hi,
I've problems my laptop not being able to awake from sleep by the keyboard. I've tried to add keyboard to list devices can wake the system ("klawiatura" means keyboard). OS Win 8, 64-bit. I am the only user and have full administrator access.
there isn't power management tab in keyboard device properties

    Hello Migawka,

It sounds like your command prompt is not running as administrator (elevated). Do you have UAC disabled by chance?

Devices - Allow or Prevent to Wake Up Computer

Type this below in your command prompt and press Enter, then try again to see if it may help.

    CD C:\Windows\System32

It appears that it's not supported for the keyboard on your laptop. That would be why you are getting this error.

Check in your BIOS settings to see if there may be an option to allow wake by keyboard.
