missing file notification after avg clean up
hello,
so i'm not an expert but i had viruses & malawares on my laptop. i did my googling & i cleaned them up, most manually. (had, serverbanners & simleyswelove & other random popus i got by accidentally installing a fake java.exe file.)
not the point.
point is, this one time, i force booted into safe mode with networking(because the laptop wont boot into safe mode with F8) & i scanned my laptop with AVG. Now, none of the forums & tips ive read suggested scanning with AVG in safe mode. but i still did. (that was around last week).
since then, every time i turn on my laptop i get a message saying:
can not find "C:\users\user\appdata\local\instant savings app\repair.js"
i click ok & the laptop works properly. however i'm worried that AVG might have removed a file that's necessary to windows. How do i know? do u have any suggestion what that message might be?
PS: nothing turned up on google. that's why i'm here.
i have a Lenovo G470. windows 7 home basic x64.
avg PC tune up 2014 full version
i have utorrent & i run on chrome (if that's relevant).
thank you.
